Please join us on the Green for the 2008 "Westfield Arts on the Green” End of Summer Celebration !!!! On Labor Day weekend, August 30th, August 31st, September 1st, 2008 This end of Summer signature event dishes up many renowned artists. Woodworkers, painters of all styles and media, children book illustrators, glass artists, jewelers, and sculptors show and sell their creations. The green is filled with the pleasant sound of music, the movement of dancers. You can get the enticing scents of local fine cuisine served up by our areas best restaurants with just a phone call as they deliver right to the. This is a true cultural commUnity experience! We are still inviting more area artists, if you are one or know one contact us. We have invited local talented musicians, bands, dance groups, novelty acts to entertain at this great community event, if you are talented let us showcase you. We feature a free "Young Artist Invitation" that encourages local school aged artists to showcase their talents. We encourage the young dancers and musicians to join us too. Artist applications and spaces are available for school aged artists, as well as for adult artists, art galleries and art clubs. We also have areas for tables sponsored by various non profits and city groups promoting their missions and events.
